Our Story

COAST Technologies Inc. started out as a Sole Proprietorship - SRB Consulting, which was established in 1989, and provided pre-construction services such as Conceptual / Detailed Budget Estimates and Project Coordination Services for the Heavy Industrial Construction Industry.

In 1992, we were incorporated and operated under 544133 Alberta Limited. The company expanded its services specializing into Construction and Project Management. In June of 2004, renamed the company COAST Technologies Inc.

In 2008, the revised royalty program caused the conventional gas activity to decline sharply, creating a "made in Alberta" recession (outside of the Oil Sands). As a result, several oil and gas companies, mainly Canadian (giants EnCana, CNRL, & Talisman) announced large spending cutbacks in Alberta and shifted their spending outside Alberta and the lucrative Grande Prairie area. This resulted in COAST retrenching and selling its heavy equipment assets and refocusing on the consultancy markets once again.

Now specializing in the management of specialty construction, COAST is finding there is a great demand for dependable pre-construction and field construction services therefore, we are transitioning back to the builder / technical side of our business where our success really began.
